Santiago Bernabeu reportedly chosen as the venue for the 2030 FIFA World Cup Final.

According to a report initially published in the Spanish newspaper El País and subsequently echoed by MARCA and other sources, the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, home to Real Madrid, is poised to serve as the venue for the 2030 FIFA World Cup Final. Notably, this tournament will also feature matches in Portugal and Morocco, with Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay hosting some of their initial matches in their respective countries. This marks a historic moment as the first FIFA World Cup to span three different continents.

At present, Spain has designated five stadiums to host World Cup matches: the Bernabeu, the Metropolitano in Madrid, the Camp Nou, the Cornella-El Prat in Barcelona, and La Cartuja in Sevilla. The Spanish football federation intends to expand the list of host cities, with Bilbao and San Sebastian emerging as strong contenders to join the World Cup roster.

Interestingly, the Santiago Bernabeu previously hosted the FIFA World Cup Final in 1982, and it appears that, nearly five decades later, the renovated stadium will once again take center stage in the world of football.
