Savio has been a standout performer in La Liga this season while playing for Girona under Michel’s management. He has notched three goals and provided four assists in eleven appearances in Spain, drawing significant interest from Barcelona.
At just 19 years of age, Savio aligns with the club’s criteria of youth and room for development, which is also endorsed by Barcelona’s Sporting Director. Unlike some other wingers, like Raphinha, who can sometimes appear one-dimensional, Savio brings a more versatile approach that has garnered the admiration of Deco, the Sporting Director.
It’s worth noting that Savio is originally under contract with the French side Troyes, but he is currently on loan at Girona for the ongoing season.
