Chelsea Hold Advantage Over Juventus in Pursuit of Young French Talent in Transfer Race

Chelsea might have an advantage over Juventus in the competition to sign Strasbourg’s young talent, Habib Diarra. While Juventus has expressed interest in the 19-year-old wonderkid, reports from Calciomercato suggest that Chelsea holds a “privileged” pathway to secure his signature due to their connections with Todd Boehly. Chelsea has a track record of signing promising French players under Boehly’s ownership, including Benoit Badiashile and Malo Gusto, and it appears that Diarra could follow in their footsteps as another Ligue 1 gem on their radar.

Although Juventus would be an attractive option for Diarra as he seeks to advance in his career, it seems that, in reality, Chelsea is in a favorable position to acquire him. Boehly recently acquired a majority stake in Strasbourg, so the evolving relationship between Chelsea and the French club will be interesting to observe.

In all fairness, Chelsea hasn’t shown remarkable performance under Boehly’s ownership, so Diarra might want to seriously consider a move to Juventus if the opportunity arises.
