The Carabao Cup’s fourth-round draw was finalized on Wednesday night, reducing the competition from 32 teams to 16, including prominent clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea.
The 2023/24 Carabao Cup continued this week with 16 intriguing matchups. On Tuesday, Luton Town, a Premier League team, suffered a surprising 1-0 defeat to League One’s Exeter City. Wolverhampton Wanderers were also eliminated after a 3-2 loss to Ipswich Town.
Middlesbrough, Mansfield Town, Port Vale, Burnley, and Manchester United secured their spots in the fourth round as well. On Wednesday, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Blackburn Rovers, Bournemouth, Fulham, West Ham, and Newcastle all advanced to the next round.
Reiss Nelson scored the lone goal for Arsenal against Brentford, while Nicolas Jackson ended his goal drought for Chelsea by scoring the deciding goal at Stamford Bridge against Brighton.
The fixtures for the upcoming round are scheduled to be played during the week beginning October 30. Clubs are now just three stages away from reaching the final, which is set to take place on Sunday, February 2026.
