Everton Is Having Trouble Finding Purchasers For Star

The Toffees need to raise money before they finalize their financial returns on June 30th, as they are in the midst of a possible takeover effort spearheaded by Roma’s present owner.

Manchester United has thus moved to try to take advantage by seeking to sign Jarrad Branthwaite, which has been witnessed by Sean Dyche’s team.

Everton would rather sell midfielder Amadou Onana and hold onto Branthwaite for one more season.

Though Everton values the 22-year-old at £50 million, interested teams are not being persuaded to make a bid despite this.

In the upcoming weeks, Onana might get more notoriety at Euro 2024, but it’s unclear if that will entice any team to spend £50 million or more.

There have been rumors that Onana was the focus of a recent inquiry from a Champions League team.

If Everton hopes to close a deal on the Belgium international soon, they might need to reconsider the asking price.
