During an interview with influencer Ohm on YouTube, the 61-year-old Portuguese coach shared memories and anecdotes from his managerial career, reflecting on his experiences overseeing some of football’s most prominent figures from the touchline, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, and Frank Lampard, among others.
“When questioned about which player he would have most desired to coach, Mourinho responded, ‘An example would be Messi. He doesn’t really require coaching. Who could claim to have coached Messi?’
‘It seems nonsensical to me because he possesses innate abilities and knowledge. Perhaps he could impart some insights to you. It would simply be an honor to have him on the team. Of course, there are many other players as well.
