Gnonto Shares Thoughts on Udogie’s Display Against Arsenal, Vicario Expresses Gratitude to Spurs Fans for Their Support

Italy international Wilfried Gnonto expressed his admiration for Destiny Udogie’s performance against Arsenal, while Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario extended his gratitude to the “outstanding” Tottenham fans after a 2-2 draw in the North London derby. Tottenham’s unbeaten streak in the Premier League continued as they secured a draw at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal.

Vicario, an Italy international, once again delivered an impressive performance as the goalkeeper, making a crucial save against Gabriel Jesus. After the final whistle, he took to Instagram to share his thoughts, writing, “Another strong performance from the boys. Unbeaten. Traveling fans were superb again. Come on you Spurs.”

Vicario’s Instagram post garnered over 56,000 likes and nearly 1,000 comments.

Destiny Udogie, Vicario’s fellow countryman and teammate, also expressed his satisfaction with Tottenham’s performance against Arsenal on social media. He noted, “Good performance from the team and the resilience to bounce back twice. We keep fighting together. Let’s go, lads.” Udogie, a former Udinese left-back, has been a regular starter in all six of Tottenham’s Premier League matches this season.

Italy striker Wilfried Gnonto commented on Udogie’s Instagram post, indicating that he was impressed by his compatriot’s speed.

Both Udogie and Vicario have yet to make their senior debuts for the Italian national team, but Vicario received call-ups in June under Roberto Mancini and earlier this month under the new Italy coach, Luciano Spalletti.
