“I’ve Returned!” Jadon Sancho’s challenging stint at Old Trafford concludes (temporarily) as Manchester United loan their £73m disappointment back to Borussia Dortmund, citing strained relations with Erik ten Hag.

Jadon Sancho has returned to Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal from Manchester United, valid until the conclusion of the season.

As part of the agreement, Manchester United will receive a £3 million loan fee, along with up to £3.4 million in bonuses based on Sancho’s appearances and Dortmund’s Champions League qualification.

While Dortmund will cover the majority of Sancho’s £290,000-a-week wages, Manchester United has agreed to contribute £100,000 to facilitate the winger’s departure.

It’s important to note that there is no provision for Borussia Dortmund to secure Sancho permanently in the upcoming summer, as they initially sold the 23-year-old to Manchester United in a £73 million deal in 2021.
