Manchester United Player Discusses the Positive Impact Sir Jim Ratcliffe Has Already Brought to the Training Ground

Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot has disclosed that the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe at the club has had a substantial positive impact. Dalot, who scored in the first half against Wigan, contributing to United’s advancement to the fourth round of the FA Cup, emphasized the new energy and positive vibes brought in by the INEOS investment.

He stated, “It (the INEOS investment) brings some good, new energy with positive feelings. We are looking to the future with good energy. You can feel at Carrington the motivation they (Ratcliffe and INEOS) have brought in. We are Manchester United, and we want to win everything.”

Erik ten Hag, the manager of United, echoed Dalot’s sentiments, describing it as an inspiration and expressing optimism within the team. Despite missing several scoring opportunities, Ten Hag was satisfied with the win against the League One side, emphasizing the importance of staying focused and completing the job. He remarked, “In the first half, we created five or six very good chances. We should have taken more, but if you don’t score, you have to stay focused, and I think we did that. You want to finish the job, and that is what I said in the dressing-room … job done.”
