Team news for Everton vs. Brentford: Toney starts, Calvert-Lewin is out

We’re still looking for our first clean sheet of Gameweek 35 after five games.

But in the first evening game against Brentford, Everton is aiming for a fourth straight shutout at home.

The game starts at 17:30 BST.

After winning the Merseyside derby, Everton made two enforced changes.

Vitalii Mykolenko is sidelined due to an ankle injury, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin has not recovered from his illness.

They are replaced by Ashley Young and Youssef Chermiti.

But Brentford’s two modifications aren’t put into effect.

The biggest change is that Ivan Toney has returned from a hip injury.

For the first time since Gameweek 31, he is starting.

Additionally called up to the side is Christian Norgaard, who made his comeback last weekend as a substitute.

Mikkel Damsgaard and Keane Lewis-Potter, unfortunate individuals, are benched.

Pickford, Godfrey, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Young, Harrison, Garner, Gueye, McNeil, Doucoure, Chermiti are the starting lineups for the Everton XI in Game Week 35.

Flekken, Ajer, Collins, Pinnock, Reguilon, Norgaard, Janelt, Jensen, Mbeumo, Wissa, Toney are the members of the Brentford XI.
