Manchester United considering a January transfer move for Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry.

Manchester United is considering the possibility of signing Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry in the January transfer window as part of Erik ten Hag’s efforts to bolster the team’s attacking options, according to reports from Nacional via the Daily Mail.

The Spanish outlet suggests that Manchester United may make a move for Gnabry during the upcoming winter transfer window due to uncertainty surrounding the futures of Antony and Jadon Sancho, both of whom have been absent from recent matches.

Jadon Sancho has been exiled from the first-team squad and is not permitted to return to first-team training until he issues an apology for his social media comments criticizing Erik ten Hag’s training methods. As a result, he has deactivated his Instagram account and has yet to score or register an assist in three league appearances this season.

Antony, on the other hand, has traveled to England from Brazil to address serious allegations made against him by his ex-partner Gabriela Cavall, which has left his availability for upcoming matches uncertain.

As a result, Manchester United is reportedly exploring options for attacking reinforcements, with Serge Gnabry being a potential target. Gnabry has established himself as one of the top forwards in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons and has an impressive track record with Bayern Munich.

The 28-year-old German forward has scored 82 goals and provided 51 assists in 224 appearances for Bayern Munich across all competitions, helping the team secure multiple titles, including the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup.

While Gnabry is valued at £48 million on transfermarket, he still has three years left on his contract with Bayern Munich, making any potential transfer challenging. Gnabry’s versatility and track record could make him an attractive signing for Manchester United, but convincing him to leave the Allianz Arena may prove to be a difficult task.
